Twitter and Facebook Accounts for the Presidential Transition
This is just one of 449 tweets that disappeared when someone on Trump's team deleted the presidential transition Twitter account on February 27, 2017. @transition2017 used to be here. The last mirror in the Wayback Machine - made the morning of Feb 27 - is here.
The same thing happened to the transition's Facebook account, which was here. Facebook blocks all archiving and caching, so it's not recoverable.

Trump's original @POTUS banner on Twitter
As soon as Trump was sworn in, he and his team were given control of the @POTUS Twitter account. The banner photo at the top of the account showed a presidential inauguration - specifically, Obama's first inauguration. People on social media noticed, and the photo was quickly changed, apparently within minutes. Screenshot above is from Madison Kircher. Article

One week after being elected President, Trump met with his business partners from India. Indian journalist Devendra Jain tweeted this photo.
